The Cheesecake Factory is a staple for celebrations and known for their extensive menu and delicious food. I am also obsessed with their complimentary whole grain bread that serve to you while you wait for your meal to come.
I was interested in trying their new menu items that they call “Super Foods”. The Super Food menu is packed with antioxidant salads and avocado toasts. I was immediately drawn to their “falafel salad”, because I love falafel. The falafel salad comes with romaine lettuce, kale, tomato, cucumber, onion, feta cheese and pita chips tossed with Greek yogurt-lemon dressing and with falafel on top.
I tasted the falafel first, because I was dying to try it. I was a bit disappointed because the falafel was warm and soft instead of having a crunchy outside layer. The taste of the falafel was delicious, and therefore I wasn’t too disappointed after all. After a while I enjoyed the mushy falafel balls. Next, I dove right into the salad and was happily surprised. The mix of romaine lettuce and kale was fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed the random pita chips that I found inside the salad.
I couldn’t come to the Cheesecake Factory and not try one of their many desserts. I am not a huge cheesecake fan in general (don’t hate me!), and that is why I ordered the strawberry shortcake. When the strawberry shortcake came out, I was surprised to see that there were three shortcake biscuit sandwiches with ice cream and strawberries inside. The tops of the shortcakes were baked with sugar, just the way I like them.
I am always blown away with the amazing tastes that I encounter at the Cheesecake Factory. Their menu is so extensive, but yet everything that I have tried has been delicious so far.
The Cheesecake Factory location that I visited is located at 750 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145.
