After I went to the Texas Veggie Fair, I wanted to post my food pictures. It was great meeting you all at the fair, and It was fun giving away t-shirts. I will be giving away a few more free t-shirts in a blog giveaway in a few weeks (look out for that).
I had a lot of fun at the Veggie Fair and I ate a lot of delicious vegan food there. I was excited to finally eat a vegan corn dog, that is one of the things I miss the most. I also got to try a few vegan baked goods, and they were all fantastic. I am a huge fan of vegan baked goods, especially cookies and pies.
The picture above is me eating a vegan BBQ rib sandwich Texas style from the Down to Earth food truck. This sandwich was out of this world crazy good! The bbq sandwich had pickles and onions on top of it, like true Texas style.
The veggie corn dog that I had was from Sadie B’s food truck. The line for this popular food truck and corn dog were so very long. I almost did not want to wait that long in the hot sun. But once I got my corn dog, it was well worth the wait!
I will defiantly be coming back to the Texas Veggie Fair next year, because I want to try the fried Newman’s Own Oreos and some other vegan delights!
Come meet me at the Texas Veggie Festival this weekend Sunday October 19th at Reverchon Park Dallas from 11am-5pm.
I will be giving away free special made “Veg Girl” t-shirts to the first 20 of my followers that find me at the Texas Veggie Fair. You will have to find me in the crowds, but I will be wearing the Veg Girl t-shirt so that I am easier to find! They are having great vegetarian food trucks, yoga, music, speakers, and vendors at the Veggie Fair, it is going to a great event that you won’t want to miss!
I can’t wait to meet you all there, don’t be shy when approaching me to claim your free t-shirt.
I will also be live tweeting my location at the Veg Fair, so make sure you are following me on Twitter. @Veggirleatsdfw
